Fashion icon Diane Pernet + famous blogger Tavi Gevinson  present A Shaded View on Fashion Film (ASVOFF)  2010 is  the first Short Film Festival calling world wide for emerging talent in the matter of film related to fashion, beauty and style, it happens in Paris and as the website say: shakes up the old rules of fashion by putting the focus on the moving image, in an industry long dominated by the “still” photographic medium.

ASVOFF is a festival including a film selection & competition, documentaries, features and installations.

The common thread that binds this diverse program is the use of fashion, beauty and/or style as the principal subject, theme or cinematic aesthetic. The festival is a study in the drama, power and personification that fashion evokes and commands on screen.

At the core of ASVOFF is a short film selection, split into the following sections:
- Fashion Film — Communication
- Fashion Film — Reflection
- Fashion Film — Out of Competition
- Music Videos

Diane Pernet, icono de la moda,  presenta A Shaded View OFashion Film  »(ASVOFF) es el primer Festival de Cortometrajes que hace un llamado alrededor de todo el mundo,  a  los nuevos talentos en materia de moda, belleza y estilo, sucede en París y como supágina web dice: sacude el las viejas reglas de la moda, poniendo el foco en la imagen en movimiento, en una industria dominada por el "quieto" medio fotográfico.

ASVOFF es un festival que incluye una selección de cine y  una competencia, documentales, películas e instalaciones.

El hilo común que une a este programa diverso es el uso de la moda, la belleza y/o estilo como el tema principal, tema o estética cinematográfica.

El festival es un estudio en el drama, el poder y la personificación que evoca la moda y lo que comanda en la pantalla.

En el medio de ASVOFF se ara  una selección de cortometrajes, divididos en las siguientes secciones:
- Moda de Cine - Comunicación
- Moda de Cine - Reflexión
- Moda de Cine - Fuera de Concurso
- Videos Musicales
